Answers to common questions, and how to reach us.
Is my inventory backed up anywhere?
Your data lives on your device. To create a backup, go to Settings → Export → Full Backup — this produces a single file containing your entire inventory, photos included, which you can save to iCloud Drive, Files, or anywhere you like. You can restore it on any device from Settings → Import. We recommend exporting a backup after any big cataloging session.
What are the free plan's limits?
The free plan includes 1 property, 10 rooms, and 150 items — plenty to document an apartment — and every export format (PDF report, CSV, full backup). Odune Pro, a one-time $9.99 purchase, removes all limits and adds Legacy Planning.
I bought Pro on my old phone. How do I get it back?
Purchases follow your Apple Account. On the new device, open Settings → Restore Purchases inside Odune. There's nothing to pay twice.
How do I move my data to a new iPhone?
Two ways: an iPhone-to-iPhone transfer (or iCloud device backup) carries Odune's data over automatically — or export a Full Backup from the old phone and import it on the new one.
Why didn't the barcode scanner find my product?
Barcode lookup uses a public product database that covers most retail products but not everything. If a barcode isn't found, the item form stays open so you can fill in the details yourself. Lookup requires an internet connection; everything else in Odune works fully offline.
Where is Legacy Planning? I can't find it.
Legacy Planning is deliberately invisible until you switch it on: Settings → Legacy Planning. It requires Odune Pro.
Can I import from another inventory app?
Yes — Odune imports CSV files, including exports from other inventory apps. Go to Settings → Import → CSV and map the columns when prompted.
Warranty reminders aren't appearing.
Check that notifications are allowed for Odune in iOS Settings → Notifications → Odune, and that the item has a warranty expiration date set. Reminders fire 30 days before expiry.
