Odune is designed so that your data stays yours.

What we collect: nothing

Odune has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. Your inventory — items, photos, receipts, values, people, and plans — is stored only on your device.

Photo recognition

Photo recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere by the app.

Product barcode lookup

Barcode lookup is optional. When you tap "Scan Product Barcode to Autofill," the app sends only the barcode digits to a public product database (UPCitemdb) to fetch the product's name, brand, and category. No personal or device-identifying information is included. If you never use this feature, the app makes no network requests at all.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment information.

Backups and exports

Backups and exports are created only when you ask, and go only where you send them.

Notifications

Warranty reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
